I am hiking in honor of my husband, Johnny Cathcart, who passed away on June 22, 2017. Johnny was a two-time childhood brain cancer survivor, and he inspired me to use my passion for dance to bring hope and joy to the cancer community. Together, we discovered Moving For Life and dreamed of sharing it with children, teens, and young adults affected by cancer.
I still carry those dreams we shared, and I will accomplish them for Johnny. Team Johnny is a special group hiking with Moving For Life's Hike-a-thon. The team is aiming to raise funds for new Moving For Life classes in honor of Johnny. With your help, we can make Johnny's dreams come true by sharing joy and hope through Moving For Life.
